For those of you who don't watch Around the Horn, one of the regular participants, Woody Paige of the Denver Post, has a chalkboard behind him every episode on which there are often humorous phrases, and he changes them several times per episode. I've done some brief searching, and so far I've found no archive of those phrases. So why not start here? If you watch, let us know what the wise and wonderful chalkboard has for us today! Here were Woody's chalkboard phrases from Monday through Wednesday (he was gone the other 2 days): Monday: I've come for an argument! If in doubt, mumble Tuesday: That was zen; this is tao The coast was clear Dain bramaged --> Wednesday: I can see clearly now, the brain is gone I bring food to the table |
