Well, it does make some sense. If he's tired of it, he has done so well he can make that decision. Second, they have known for awhile who was going to replace him, his son, so he and the team (most of which will be returning next season) will have 10 or so games this year to get used to the coaching style, instead of waiting until next season to do that. |

I heard about that second reason this morning, and that sounds plausible. Question is, did he just resign or is he retiring? |

I'd say he's retiring for now, but just like many coaches, I wouldn't be surprised if he came back in a few years. |
