Blue Cross Arena In Limbo?; Amerks' Lease Ends In June

The future of the Blue Cross Arena will be determined over the next few months.

The Rochester Americans’ lease expires in June, as does the management contract with SMG.

The mayor has asked City Council to approve $50,000 for a New Jersey consultant to negotiate the next round of contracts at the arena.

More than a half a million people attend more than 100 events a year at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial.
