The season has started!

While the season doesn't start 'till the 9th in North America...the season has started for 4 teams in Europe!

Mike Smith stopped 39 shots...but it wasn't enough as the Rangers beat the new look Tampa 2-1!

Sens-Pens in Sweden will start soon.

It's been all Pens first couple minutes and scored 40 seconds in.

However, the Sens just capitalized on one of their chances and scored.

1-1

Sens penalty.
Pens have had two powerplay chances so far. This will be their 3rd.

Interesting...no Whitney or Gonchar for months, so the Pens put their best two players (and arguably the top two of the top 3 players in the world) on the point....Malkin and Crosby.

Well the Pens didn't score on the PP. However, the Sens just committed another penalty
