Serious dialogue has taken place in recent years about moving a Marlins home series against the Mets to Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, and the sides were considered close to an agreement last year. The Mets would be a particularly attractive draw because of their Puerto Rican presence, including Carlos Beltran, Pedro Feliciano, Angel Pagan and Omir Santos. The Mets also are investigating re-signing Alex Cora, who hails from the island, and won't rule out bringing back Carlos Delgado, a product of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The Mets played seven games against the Montreal Expos at Hiram Bithorn Stadium from 2003-04. Full article.
